Springfield Hustles is back!
A Business Plan and Pitch Competition
As part of a community-wide effort to make Springfield a more vibrant and prosperous place to live, work, and raise a family, Springfield Hustles was conceived as a way to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to take a chance on themselves.
This city was built on the shoulders of men and women who weren’t afraid to take a risk and were rewarded handsomely for it, and its revitalization may very well hinge on a new generation of entrepreneurs rising up to lay claim to their dreams of creating a business that has the potential to become a mainstay in Springfield.
What is Springfield Hustles?
If you’ve ever seen the hit television show Shark Tank, you can form a pretty good idea about what Springfield Hustles is going to be like. Put simply, it’s a business plan competition where those who write and submit the best business plans are selected to pitch their business concept in front of a panel of judges who are well versed in recognizing a company that is destined to succeed.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s final pitch event will not take place in front of a live audience. Instead, we will be producing a livestreamed version of the event that will knock your socks off. We’re talking a professionally-designed stage set, custom lighting and sound, multiple camera angles, and a video director orchestrating the entire production. Basically, the final pitch event is going to look more and more like the hit TV show, Shark Tank. We’re hoping the changes will give the event a more up-close look and give our finalists even greater exposure than before.
